It Is You

Everybody needs a friend,
Everybody says a prayer sometimes.
Even though they may say they don't believe in you.
When times are tough they call for you, to help them through.
This life can be so tough,
Everyone needs a helping hand.
Wish they knew, they can turn to you, you're there,
Within the hearts of everyone, we can all be aware.
That from the atoms to the stars, within everything we feel and see,
In our hearts, in our souls, through all the material energy.
It is yours, it is you, you are the source and end of all,
And if we call, you will be there, to catch us if we weaken slip or fall.
So nobody is really alone,
You are there in everything.
There is love in this world, there is hate, there is truth and there are lies.
And if we turn to you in our hearts, you will let us realise.
